"My first experience from State Farm and will be my last. They completely screwed me on my car. My vehicle had a malfunction and threw me off the road. Damages were less than $2,000 and they told me it would need to exceed $9,700 for it to be a total loss, but they totaled it anyway. It was simple radiator, ac condenser, bumper, and wheel that needed to be replaced but they weren’t “confident” that there wouldn’t be more damage, but they didn’t even care to actually check. I saw the car twice after the accident and I’m a mechanic and did body tech, there was quite literally 0 damage other than what was listed but they scammed me anyway and said they will not budge on their answer. Not only that, they only payed me a fraction of what the vehicle is actually worth even with proof with jd power, kbb, and Carfax. I lost almost ten thousand dollars because of this scummy company and after that, they were quoting me almost $800 for a new policy with a different vehicle. It’s safe to say State Farm is one of the worst insurance companies out there. Insure at your own risk."
